You are talking to an AI

The femmeelixir consultant is an automated assistant powered by a large language model (Claude, provided by Anthropic, PBC). It is not a person, a dermatologist, a pharmacist or any other healthcare professional. The consultant panel says so at all times, and before your first conversation we show this notice with links to this page and our Privacy Policy.

Cosmetic suggestions, not medical advice

The consultant suggests cosmetic products and routines based on what you tell it and on product information in our catalog. Its suggestions are informational. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition, and it does not replace advice from a doctor. If you have pain, swelling, bleeding, an open wound, a rash spreading over your body, signs of infection, a mole or spot that changes, or you are pregnant or breastfeeding and unsure about an ingredient, stop and talk to a doctor or dermatologist. In those situations the consultant will suggest the same.

Patch test before you use something new

Before using a new product, apply a small amount to a small area of skin (for example, inside the forearm or behind the ear) and wait 24–48 hours. If redness, itching, burning or swelling appears, do not use the product. Stop using any product that irritates your skin.

It can be wrong

AI can make mistakes, misunderstand you or miss something you did not mention. We check that every product it suggests exists in our catalog and is available, and we flag known ingredient conflicts and the allergies or ingredients you told it to avoid, but the final choice is yours. Always read the product label, the full ingredient list and the warnings.

What the consultant can do on the site

The consultant can show you products, collections and routines, open pages of the store, apply catalog filters and suggest adding items to your bag. It adds an item, or saves your skin profile, only after you confirm, and it never places an order or pays for you.

Your data

• Your messages and the conversation are sent to Anthropic to generate replies. Short search phrases written by the consultant are processed by Voyage AI to find matching products. Please do not share information you do not want processed this way, such as other people's details or payment information.
• Without an account, or if you do not turn on saved history, the conversation lasts for the consultant session (24 hours by default) and is then deleted.
• Saving your chat history and your skin profile is optional, needs your separate consent and can be turned off at any time in your account; turning off the skin profile consent deletes the profile.

Age

The consultant is intended for people aged 16 and over.
