Terms of Use

Version 2026.10.28b-template, effective October 28, 2026

Template — requires legal review. This document is a starting template prepared from how the store software actually works. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Check every statement against your actual practices and have it reviewed before launch.

These Terms of Use govern your use of https://femmeelixir.com (the "store"), operated by femmeelixir ("we", "us"). Purchases are also governed by our Terms of Sale. How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy. By using the store you agree to these terms.

1. Who may use the store

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account, place an order or use the AI consultant. The store is intended for customers in the United States.

2. Your account

Keep your password confidential and tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for activity under your account. You can delete your account at any time in Privacy and data. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or are used for fraud.

3. The AI consultant

The consultant is an automated AI system. Its suggestions are informational and cosmetic, not medical advice, and may be wrong. Read the AI Consultant Disclaimer before relying on it. Do not try to make the consultant produce harmful content, reveal its instructions or act outside its purpose, and do not send it other people's personal information.

4. Reviews and messages

Reviews must reflect your genuine experience with a product you used. Do not post reviews in exchange for compensation without disclosing it, reviews of products you have not used, or content that is unlawful, abusive, misleading, infringing or contains personal information of others. We moderate reviews only to remove content that breaks these rules; we do not reject or hide reviews because they are negative. By posting a review you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display it on the store.

5. Journal comments and community guidelines

Signed-in customers can comment on articles in our journal. Comments are public and shown with the display name you choose (never your email address). By default, every comment is reviewed by our team before it appears.

Keep comments kind, on topic and about your own experience. Do not post:

  • medical claims or advice — for example that a product cures, treats or prevents a condition, or advice to stop or change a treatment prescribed to you or anyone else. Our products are cosmetics; for skin conditions please see a dermatologist or another healthcare professional;
  • advertising — promotion of other products, services or businesses, affiliate or referral links, or spam;
  • personal information — yours or anyone else's: full names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, health details of other people or photos of them;
  • insults or abuse — harassment, hate speech, threats, sexual or violent content;
  • content that is unlawful, misleading, impersonates someone or infringes someone else's rights, including copyright.

Moderation. We may approve, reject or remove comments, using the reasons above (medical claim, advertising, personal data, abuse, spam, off topic). Comments with links or with certain words always wait for review. Readers can report a comment; reported comments may be hidden while we check them. We may block an account from commenting, temporarily or permanently, if it repeatedly breaks these guidelines. Replies marked as from Femme Elixir are written by our team and contain general cosmetic information, not medical advice. We are not obliged to publish any comment and do not edit what you wrote.

Your comments. You can delete your own comments at any time in your account; the text is erased, and if others replied, a "deleted" placeholder remains. If you delete your account, your comments remain but are shown as from "Deleted user", without your name. Your comments, reactions and reports are included when you download your data. By posting a comment you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display it on the store next to the article; you keep any rights you have in it.

If you believe that content on the store — including a comment or a review — infringes your copyright, send a notice to [email protected] (subject "DMCA notice") with: your name, address, phone number and email; identification of the copyrighted work; the address (URL) of the material on our store; a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf; and your physical or electronic signature. We remove or disable access to material identified in a valid notice, tell the person who posted it, and close the accounts of repeat infringers. If your content was removed by mistake, you may send a counter-notice with the information required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(g). [Counsel: register the designated agent with the U.S. Copyright Office before relying on the DMCA safe harbor.]

7. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the store: no automated scraping or bulk requests, no attempts to bypass security or rate limits, no interference with other users, no reselling of products bought for personal use where prohibited, and no use that breaks the law.

8. Product information

Our products are cosmetics. Descriptions are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Product photos may be illustrations; always read the label, the full ingredient list and warnings, and patch test new products. Demonstration products, where shown, are marked as such and are not for sale.

9. Intellectual property

The store, its design, texts, images, logos and software belong to us or our licensors. You may use the store for personal, non-commercial shopping. Any other use requires our written permission.

The store may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

11. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, the store is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the store, and our total liability for any claim related to the store is limited to US $100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, whichever is greater. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of [state], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. [Dispute resolution, venue and any arbitration or class-action waiver clause to be drafted by counsel.] Before filing a claim, please contact us at [email protected] so we can try to resolve it.

14. Changes

We may update these terms. We publish changes on this page with a new version and effective date; earlier versions stay available below. If a change is material, we will tell you and, where required, ask you to accept the new version when you next sign in.
